• Intellectual Portraits

An Intellectual Portrait is not a rendering of a person’s physiognomy, but rather an artistic compilation of a person’s intellectual life and personality. Morgan is a print derived from an individual’s interests, passions and business life; Spiess and Sheikh originate from highly technical doctoral theses; Teegarden, Gessow and Forney represent compilations of a life’s work; and Skaff is a print about a profession.

An Intellectual Portrait is as much as what you want it to be. I gather information from an individual and work with them to find what they want to say in the print. I then use their words and images to layer a personalized monoprint (one of a kind print) as unique to that person and their intellect.

A print like this may be as large as 22 x 20 inches or as small as Skaff at 10.5 x 22. Other formats are available.
